Students prospect for gold

31/08/2017
The Year 5 students travelled to Bahrs Scrub this week to attend the Gold Rush experience as part of their history unit of study.  They investigated life on the gold fields in Australia and learned that it was filled with hard manual labour, risks and of course, bushrangers.  They even tried their hand at gold panning.  If only they could find that one nugget!

Thank you to the great team of teachers and volunteers who made the day a special one for the students.
