Our school is leading the way in using digital pedagogy to enhance learning and while there are plenty of schools out there with iPads, there are none who have the whole school culture and vision for the future like we do. We invest back into improving schools and teachers by conducting our annual event. This year, 125 teachers and school leaders from around Queensland visited to see precisely what we do. They certainly left very impressed and eager to develop their own skills.
It takes a massive effort and months of planning to organise events such as these, so to Ms Muller and her team, a massive congratulations. From the staff who opened their rooms and ran Masterclasses to the behind the scenes team members - Well done!
Here is some of the feedback provided:
'The excellent presentation and approachability of the staff. Nicky was amazing as were all the staff and students who welcomed us into their classes.'
'I like seeing how technology was integral to the learning at Coomera Rivers with the ideology that they were living the motto their principal discussed, not what's best but what is next. I liked the staff and their professional enthusiasm towards their pedagogy and environment in which made a large school feel like a community of learners.'
'Thank You to Vic Graham and the Coomera River team were welcoming and gave me an opportunity to lift the lid on the technological future of the students in my classroom. It was a well organised event and it has set the standard very high for other schools.'
'I loved that the Masterclasses were run by teachers in their classrooms. It is so great to see what is happening at ground level, and that your classroom teachers are so knowledgeable is a credit to your school.'
