We stand against bullying

Every child and teacher in every class at our school has been researching and learning about bullying this week as part of understanding our pledge. We have defined what bullying is, what the various forms are, identified what is not bullying and we are learning about what to do should it happen to you or you witness it. Classes have been creating war cries, books, videos, keynotes and posters to show their learning - and their work has been quite sensational.

The week ended with a free dress day where we wore orange to show our support for the Nation Day of Action against bulling and violence. Our Student Council raised $1400 and these funds will be put to excellent use this year.

I really must thank the teachers on their incredible work around this topic. Their innovation and creativity is really special.

Click here to see the 2H video. Great job. Please make sure that you visit your class newsletter this week to see examples of your child's work.
