The story behind ANZAC Day and the construction of a class wreath was a focus at school this week. And all of this culminated with the school ANZAC service.
Well done to everyone who planned, prepared and participated in the school ANZAC Day service for 2021. It was highly respectful and the involvement of the children left me filled with pride. I was delighted with the solemn respect shown by all of the wreath layers and presenters. Well done to the Year 6 leaders who supported our youngest students.
Thank you also to the staff who, due to COVID restrictions, needed their students to watch the service via a live stream to classrooms. This is always different to watching the service live and I very much appreciate their support with this today. The student live stream was slightly different to the Facebook Live which parents were able to enjoy.
